It wasn’t me.
WNBA star Lexi Brown has denied that Klay Thompson is the woman who allegedly cheated on her with Megan Thee Stallion.
The Seattle Storm player, 31, wrote on his Instagram Story on Sunday: “I have seen what has been said online and I want to be clear: none of it is true and I am not involved in this situation.”
“This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me and my focus is completely on it.”
After Megan publicly exposed Thompson’s cheating allegations, fans shared various theories about who the other woman was.
One X user (whose tweets are now protected) claimed that Brown was “posting messages between him and the Dallas Mavericks star to her close friends,” in which he claimed that his romance with the “WAP” rapper was “just for social media.”
The netizen also claimed that Thompson and Brown had recently been following each other on Instagram. (Players are not currently following each other.)
On Saturday, Megan, also 31, took to her Instagram Story to claim that Thompson, 36, had been unfaithful to her.
“Cunning, made me play house with the whole family…’I was cold,'” she wrote.
“During basketball season, I’ve held you down with your horrible mood swings and treatment of me. Now you don’t even know if you can be ‘monogamous’?” the Grammy winner added.
“Bitch, I need a real break after this. Bye.”
In a statement to Page Six, Megan confirmed that she had “made the decision to end our relationship” with the four-time NBA champion.
“For me, trust, loyalty and respect are non-negotiables in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there is no way forward,” she added.
“I am using this time to prioritize myself and move forward with peace and clarity.”
Hours after the shocking revelation, Megan broke down in tears at the curtain call for Moulin Rouge! The Musical.
Fans shouted, “We love you!” The “Hot Girl Summer” host, whose real name is Megan Peet, turned away from the audience and wiped away tears.
Following news of their breakup, Megan’s ex Pardison Fontaine sent her a cryptic message and posted a video of her singing along to Jagged Edge’s 1999 song “He Can’t Love U.”
“You wouldn’t want to be with that guy if he can’t be a man and do to you the way he does to me,” the “Backin’ It Up” rapper sang on Instagram on Saturday. “I tell you, he cannot love you as I love you.”
Megan and Thompson went public with their relationship last summer.
The pair made their red carpet debut at Megan’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York last July.
In October 2025, the “Sweetest Pie” rapper and the former Golden State Warriors star bought a home together.
