Travis Kelsey did not appear on the red carpet with Taylor Swift at tonight’s Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end just completed the team’s mandatory minicamp earlier today. He has a packed schedule for the rest of this week.
Taylor Swift is celebrating one of the biggest honors of her career tonight at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York City. (She wore a gorgeous black floral dress for the occasion.) Meanwhile, her fiancé, Travis Kelce, is busy with his mandatory minicamp with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs. The minicamp was held from June 9th to today.
Unsurprisingly, NFL players were absent from the red carpet of tonight’s ceremony. Although the minicamp ended earlier today in Kansas City, Missouri, Kelce will be busy with a series of events far away from New York this coming weekend.
Kelsey has a packed schedule, with a special appearance at a Cleveland Guardians game on June 14th, and a live episode of New Heights in Los Angeles the following day, June 15th. From there, he is scheduled to host Tight End University in Nashville from June 22-25. (Event co-host George Kittle recently addressed rumors that Swift would perform there, noting how many more people had signed up to attend this year after Swift attended in 2025. Kittle wouldn’t confirm or deny the possibility of her performing again next week.)
Swift herself has had a whirlwind week. She was in Los Angeles on Tuesday, making a surprise appearance at the world premiere of Toy Story 5 (she recorded an original song for the film, “I Knew It, I Knew You”). And last night, he was in New York attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals with Alana and Este Haim.
It is rumored that the two will get married by the time Kelce’s training camp begins in late July. TMZ reported today that Kelce will take the next five weeks off after minicamp ends. However, the couple has kept their wedding plans private.
