Taylor Swift attended the Toy Story 5 premiere alone tonight. Travis Kelce was unable to participate due to mandatory minicamp with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was photographed in the field earlier today and is reportedly scheduled to be in Los Angeles later this week.
Taylor Swift celebrated a career milestone tonight by joining the cast of Toy Story 5 at the Disney Pixar film’s world premiere in Los Angeles. Swift wrote a song for the film, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” which explores the journey of the character Jesse.
Her fiancé Travis Kelce did not attend the premiere. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be in Los Angeles on June 15th to tape a live episode of New Heights, but he was participating today in the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp, which runs from June 9th to June 11th. The team’s X account had earlier shared a video of Kelce on the field.
Swift and Kelsea attended their first music event together, the iHeartRadio Music Awards, in March. Kelce, who was in the offseason at the time, met with Swift during the ceremony. The two have never posed together on a red carpet before.
Swift and Kelsey are expected to marry soon, but the couple is keeping their exact plans and wedding date private. Their last public date was on May 23, at the New York Knicks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game in Cleveland.
In October, Swift spoke on BBC Radio 2 about how much support Kelce has for her career and debunked a fan theory that she would quit music once she got married.
“I love the person I’m with because he loves my work and loves how fulfilled I am by making art and making music,” she said. “That’s the coolest thing about Trav. He’s so passionate about what he does, so I’m passionate about what I do, too, and that’s what brings us together. It’s not at the point where he’s like, ‘I’m really mad that you’re still making music, that I’m signed to, that I knew you liked, that you were going to stop doing it, and that you’re still making music.'”
