Taylor Swift is back at Travis Kelce’s tight end college for the second year in a row and posed with her fiancé ahead of their upcoming wedding. Swift and Kelsey posed for photos with co-hosts George Kittle and Greg Olsen, and their wives Claire Kittle and Cara Olsen. Swift chose a sunny yellow floral Simkhai mini dress in a jacquard weave, which is not yet completely sold out.
There’s a deep meaning behind Swift’s choice to wear a yellow dress. The singer has worn the yellow look numerous times prior to and since the release of the Toy Story 5 single “I Knew It, I Knew You.” The color pays homage to the movie character Jesse, who is the subject of her song.
On May 15, she wore a pale yellow Doan dress while out with Kelsey in New York City.
In April of the same year, she also carried a striking yellow Lady Dior handbag. This look was her first look hinting at a collaboration with Toy Story.
And at the Toy Story 5 premiere earlier this month, she performed “I Knew It, I Knew You” in a yellow Oscar de la Renta dress with floral embellishments.
Swift is known for her Easter eggs and album-era costumes. Time will tell if the yellow outfit is just for her Toy Story single, a song with Oscar potential, or if the color will also play a role in her 13th album, but fans believe she’s hinted at it with her recent style choices.
During an appearance on Kelsey’s New Heights Podcast last year, Swift explained that Easter eggs are always linked to her music. “I’m never going to plant Easter eggs that relate to my personal life,” she said. “It’s always towards music or whatever I’m thinking about.”
