Kim Kardashian keeps her eye on the ball.
The Skims founder, 45, took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off a rare Louis Vuitton World Cup soccer ball, posing with the monogrammed collector’s item and promoting charities related to the tournament.
“It’s an honor to be a part of the Louis Vuitton x UNICEF World Cup book,” Kardashian captioned the selfie. “All proceeds from this book will be donated to the UNICEF Fund for Children ❤️”
Louis Vuitton originally created a limited edition leather soccer ball with a tan leather carrying strap for the 1998 World Cup in France. Since then, this piece has become a must-have collection for fans of the brand.
Used copies currently sell for about $2,100 on the resale market.
Kardashian isn’t the first celebrity to kick off with a designer ball. In 2019, Rihanna carried it to the UEFA Champions League match between Juventus and Atletico Madrid in Turin, Italy. The singer paired her head-to-toe Fenty look with sporty accessories as she posed in a custom Juventus jersey as she cheered from the stands.
The piece also appeared on Kimora Lee Simmons’ handbag collection tour, next to a Chanel rubber basketball with a chain strap.
Kardashian has a history of pairing soccer with high-end accessories. In 2023, the mother of four made headlines when she arrived at a match between Paris Saint-Germain and Al Nasr in Osaka, Japan, carrying what is widely considered to be one of the world’s most expensive handbags, a Hermes Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Diamond Birkin worth an estimated $380,000.
She and her son Saint West, 10, also appeared in a Nike soccer campaign alongside A-list athletes earlier this month.
As 2026 World Cup fever sweeps across North America, she seems to be stepping up her game.
