Kristen Doute and her fiancé Luke Broderick are putting their wedding plans on hold as they adjust to life with their daughter Kaia Lilly.
The “Valley” stars welcomed their child in June 2025, but Broderick says parenthood has changed their priorities for now.
“When you have a child, you find a whole new identity,” Broderick exclusively told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.” “You’re rebuilding your relationship and I think it’s the wrong move to rush into a wedding now.”
Although the couple has been discussing potential ideas for a future wedding, Broderick admitted that he and the “Vanderpump Rules” alum have not officially started planning anything yet.
“Nothing is planned. Nothing is planned, nothing is happening,” he said. “There’s been talk of going to Nashville to look at venues, but there’s no real plans yet. That’s kind of step one, to see which venues we like, when they’re open, etc. That’s step one. That’s in the discussion stage. It’s not on the calendar.”
Page Six For the latest on reality TV…
Doute, 43, and Broderick, 35, got engaged in September 2024 after less than two years of dating. Shortly after announcing their engagement, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child.
For now, the Bravolebrities are focused on adjusting to their new normal as parents before adding the stress of a wedding.
Still, if the couple decides to move forward, Nashville seems like a likely wedding destination. But for now, Broderick says everything related to marriage is firmly “on the table” as he and Doute enter their latest chapter together.
“The Valley” airs Wednesdays at 8pm ET on Bravo, with new episodes streaming the next day on Peacock.
