Whoopi Goldberg praised Anne Hathaway’s stellar career on Monday’s episode of “The View” and brought her to tears.
“Anne Hathaway, it’s been so much fun watching you,” Hathaway said during an appearance on Matt Damon and Christopher Nolan’s talk show to promote her new film, The Odyssey.
“It’s been amazing to watch you grow and you’ve just blossomed into this amazing actress,” she continued.
The 43-year-old “The Devil Wears Prada” actress covered her face with her hands and cried as she told Golberg, “No, don’t do this!”
“Girl! Yes! Yes! You need to know. You need to know,” the “Color Purple” actress, 70, insisted. “That’s something you need to know and remember.”
Hathaway, who is currently pregnant with her third child, joked, “If I wasn’t pregnant right now, I’d be crying! I don’t even know what to say. Thank you. You know how I feel about you.”
Golberg then turned his attention to Damon, gushing about how much he “adored” him since they first met at Oscar in February 2016.
“I know you know my family because they lived right next to yours. It feels like home,” she exclaimed. “Thank you for always being honest and doing such a wonderful and wonderful job.”
Last month, Hathaway confirmed she was pregnant with her third child with husband Adam Shulman.
After Page Six obtained photos of Hathaway baring her butt while on vacation with her family, they confirmed the news on social media with a sweet video.
“x baby, I’m your x,” the “Princess Diaries” actress, who has been open about her infertility treatments, captioned the post.
Hathaway and the jewelry line’s co-founder, 45, also have sons Jonathan and Jack, born in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
