“Mission: Impossible” star Ving Rhames collapsed at a restaurant in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon.
Sources tell TMZ that the 66-year-old actor was sitting down to eat with his family when the medical emergency occurred at 1:40 p.m. local time.
Firefighters arrived at the scene after receiving a report from a man in his 60s and transported him to the hospital.
Rhames’ representative told the outlet that he may have simply “overheated” and that his condition is stable.
At the time of publication, it was reported that the “Pulp Fiction” star remained hospitalized for observation.
Representatives for Page Six could not be reached for comment.
Rhames is the father of 26-year-old daughter Reign and 24-year-old son Freedom.
The “Locksmith” star shares his children with wife Deborah Reid, whom he married in 2020.
He was also married to Valerie Scott from 1994 to 1999.
Rhames is best known for his role as computer hacker Luthor in the Mission: Impossible films starring Tom Cruise.
He also played Marcellus Wallace in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 film Pulp Fiction and Marcus in the 1999 film Bring Out the Dead.
Rhames’ other recent roles include the 2025 TV miniseries “Dope Thief” and the 2025 film “Uppercut.”
