Meghan Trainor shockingly canceled her 2026 Get in Girl tour just two months before it was scheduled to kick off, saying she “needs to be home and present” for her children and husband after growing her family.
“After much reflection and some really tough conversations, I have made the difficult decision to cancel the ‘Get in Girl’ tour,” the 32-year-old Trainor revealed via his Instagram Story on Thursday.
“Balancing releasing a new album, preparing for a national tour, and adding a new baby girl to our growing family of five is more than I can handle right now.”
“I know this will disappoint our fans, and I’m truly sorry for letting you down,” the “All About That Bass” singer continued.
“But I know this is the right decision for my family and me at this time.”
“I promise I’ll be back soon. I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it and always grateful for your love and support,” Traynor concluded.
Trainor originally planned to start the tour on June 12 in Clarkston, Michigan. The tour was scheduled to run until August 15th and conclude with a performance in Los Angeles.
She originally announced a new tour in November 2025. During the month, he also told fans that he was already working on his seventh studio album, Toy With Me, which will be released on April 24th.
The news comes just months after Trainor revealed in January that she and husband Daryl Sabara secretly welcomed their third child via surrogate.
The “January 18, 2026” and “Made You Look” songstress posted on Instagram at the time, along with a photo of herself with her newborn.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor is finally here, thanks to our amazing superwoman surrogate mother.”
Trainor and Sabara are also parents to two sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.
The “No” songstress later insisted in an interview with People that her choice to welcome a new family member through a surrogate mother was “justified.”
“Surrogacy is just one of the beautiful ways to start a family,” the Grammy winner told the media on Wednesday. “It’s not something to whisper about or judge.”
