It’s an otter emergency.
Taylor Swift may have a history of selling out designer duds and accessories, but her latest take on affordable fashion includes philanthropy.
When Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, 36, wore a Monterey Bay Aquarium otter shirt in the documentary “Taylor Swift: The End of an Era,” fans went wild and the T-shirt sold out quickly.
Now, the song is back and available for purchase for $65.13. This price is clearly a nod to the singer’s favorite number.
The design was originally created in the 90’s by illustrator and children’s book author Chris Van Dusen and has been reprinted on 100% cotton shirts by Liberty Graphics.
This price includes more than just the T-shirt, it also includes a donation to the world-renowned aquarium, known for its pioneering sea otter program and the largest collection of deep-sea animals in North America.
The center was the inspiration for Pixar’s 2016 “Finding Nemo” sequel, “Finding Dory.”

Swift’s exact connection to the California landmark is unclear, but her fiancé, Travis Kelce, recently spoke about her obsession with otters on his podcast, New Heights.
Sister-in-law Kylie Kelce later symbolically adopted a giant otter from the Philadelphia Zoo after the tight end, naming him “Uncle Trav.”
The last time the Monterey Bay Aquarium stocked limited-edition shirts, they raised a staggering $2.3 million in less than two days.
“The response was beyond our expectations,” the facility said, referring to Swift’s song.
