Newly released 911 audio reveals the moment police arrived on the scene after Summer House star West Wilson’s cousin allegedly shot his grandmother.
In audio obtained by TMZ, a dispatcher says the caller claims he may have shot his mother-in-law.
“What we’re hearing is that the subject may have shot his mother-in-law,” the dispatcher said.
“We don’t know. We were on the phone with a third party who wasn’t there and he hung up,” the dispatcher later continued.
Wilson’s cousin, Dakota Sweeney, 28, was arrested and charged with murdering her grandmother, Gail R. Wilson.
Sweeney was arrested by the Carrollton, Missouri Police Department on April 22 and charged the next day with first-degree murder and armed criminal action, according to a statement from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Gail, 75, was West and Sweeney’s grandmother, according to her obituary.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 10:25 p.m. last Wednesday, Carroll County law enforcement officers responded to a report of a shooting at a residence and found a woman’s body inside.
Witnesses at the scene identified the male suspect and he was taken into custody without incident, the statement said.
Sweeney is currently being held in the Caldwell County Jail on an unsecured warrant.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Drug Enforcement Unit is currently investigating the murder.
West, 31, has been in the headlines for his shocking romance with Summer House co-star Amanda Batula, after previously dating BFF Ciara Miller.
Despite the backlash, Wilson and Batula, 34, are doing well.
Page Six exclusively obtained photos of the couple leaving the Summer House reunion together in New York City last week.
