Rihanna’s daughter Rocky Eilish has already appeared on her first magazine cover at just six months old.
The singer covers W’s Pop issue while holding her baby girl in Dior haute couture.
For her mother, Lee, she wore a black coat with a white feather neckline and a sculptural purple hat, accented with dramatic purple and orange eye makeup and a Cartier necklace.
Meanwhile, baby Rocky matched his mother in a Dior Haute Couture diaper and floral headpiece.
In fact, Rihanna was the first celebrity to be spotted with the runway accessory, wearing a purple version of the botanical topper at the Dior afterparty in Paris, just hours after her first runway appearance.
At the time, the 38-year-old “Umbrella” singer was wearing a plain white T-shirt and slouchy jeans.
Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson, who has designed Rihanna and Rocky and also created miniature couture for her sons RZA and Riot, spoke to the magazine about the look.
“Haute couture diapers are definitely a first for Dior,” Anderson told W. “When Rihanna asks for something, she’s already ahead of what’s going on. She’s thinking outside the box. When she has an idea, I always trust the process. I implicitly trust her with what she feels is right,” he added.
The entire shoot is a high fashion fever dream, a style staple of photographer Tim Walker.
Styled by Rihana’s right-hand man Jaleel Weaver, Rihana was photographed through a fisheye lens wearing a hugging feathered Chanel couture jacket and a Victorian suit by Givenchy.
Baby Rocky is already following in the footsteps of his fashionable mother. She made her world debut wearing a giant pink bow, and earlier this month was spotted making her first public appearance wearing head-to-toe Dior, of course.
