“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Angie Catsanevas and her husband of nearly 30 years, Sean Trujillo, have separated, Page Six has learned.
Sources told Us on Monday that the longtime couple, who married in June 1999 and have a 15-year-old daughter, Electra, are no longer romantically involved.
Notably, Catsanevas, who co-founded Lunatic Fringe Salon with Trujillo the same year they married, did not post on Instagram to commemorate their 27th wedding anniversary last month.
But on June 13, 2025, she gushed on her social media platform: “Hair Affair 🤍🤍🤍 #26Years. It seems like yesterday I was sitting at the register at the grocery store booking a blowout with the guy of my dreams on the cover of a romance novel. Long hair like Fabio, big muscles, and known for being deadly with scissors. The rest is HAIRstory❤️.”
Representatives for the hairdressers and Bravo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
It’s unclear whether the couple’s marital struggles will be revisited in Season 7, which began filming in late February and wrapped in late May.
New seasons of “RHOSLC” typically premiere in the fall, with reunion episodes filmed toward the end of the season and aired shortly thereafter.
During Season 4, her first full-time role, Catsanevas faced rumors that Trujillo was cheating on her with several men.
Ms Katsanevas, 52, was shocked and hurt that her co-stars continued to chatter, but she saw it as an attack on her relationship. Trujillo also denied the act, but was outraged by the speculation.
“For me, it’s not about homosexuality, it’s about infidelity,” the 55-year-old later told Andy Cohen on an October 2023 episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
“We love the gay community. We’ve been integrated into that community for 30 years just because of what we do for business,” he added. “But I’m here to support Angie and take the hit.”
Later that season, Catsanevas admitted that he and Trujillo had a hard time prioritizing their marriage because they spent so much time raising their daughter and running their business.
And when the two appeared on Wife Swap: The Real Housewives in October 2025, Trujillo accused Catsanevas of “micromanaging” her and not allowing her to “relax” just to “sit together” and “spend time as a family.”
In response, Katsanevas quipped, “Am I OCD or do I just have a talent for making things perfect?”
More recently, eagle-eyed internet users noticed that Mr. Trujillo was following several divorce-related Instagram accounts, but he insisted that the activity had “nothing to do with Angie.”
“But there are people close to me who are going through tough times, and they send me pages with thoughts and information about what they’re going through. It’s as simple as that, nothing more, nothing less,” Trujillo told Reality Shrine in January.
A few days later, Katsanevas told Cohen on “WWHL” that he was “still married.”
