Dolores Catania and Liz McGraw aren’t fans of fellow “Real Housewives of Rhode Island” star Ashley Iaconetti.
Catania and McGraw attacked the Bachelor Nation member, telling Page Six’s “Virtual Reality” hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy during Wednesday’s live event at the New York City Winery Loft that they had no idea who she was until she appeared on “RHORI.”
Iaconetti is a reality TV veteran who has appeared on season 19 of “The Bachelor,” seasons 2 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise” and “Bachelor Winter Games.”
McGraw said Iaconetti is a “confessional warrior,” but he should “bring it to both sides.”
The entrepreneur explained, “She’s very good at confessing, but it didn’t show on the set. She just said it.”
Catania agreed that Iaconetti was “very quiet” while filming the show, calling her “calm” and “nice.”
McGraw added, “She’s a new soul. There’s nothing wrong with that. She doesn’t necessarily resonate with those of us who have really deep-seated ST. … She’s pure.”
Mr. McGraw told the audience elsewhere in the roundtable that he had “never tried to make any personal plans” with Mr. Iaconetti.
McGraw and Iaconetti are both in the debut season of “RHORI.” Catania, a cast member on “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has appeared multiple times on “RHORI” this season due to her longtime friendship with McGraw.
“RHORI” debuted on Bravo on April 2nd. This is the 12th installment of the “Real Housewives” series.
Executive producer Andy Cohen spoke passionately to Page Six last May about the show, which also stars Kelsey Swanson, Rosie Woods Demare, Lula Pontarelli, Alicia Carmody and Jo-Ellen Tiberi.
“The cast is incredible,” he exclusively told 2025. “They’re very Italian. Rhode Island is a very small state and they all know each other and overlap.
“It’s a great group of women with really interesting connections,” the “Watch What Happens Live” host said at the time. “I think that’s going to really surprise people.”
Iaconetti also spoke to Us in March about joining the Housewives series and how it will be different from Bachelor Nation.
“Being a part of this season, or at least filming it, was so much more dramatic than any ‘Bachelor’ season I’ve ever filmed,” she said. “They’re such great reality TV personalities that I’m the only one who seems bored.
“I said in this little[teaser]video that we created something that brought sanity, and I know that made a lot of people think, ‘Oh, okay, Ashley.’ But no, really,” she continued.
