Variety reports that Gabriel Luna will appear as a guest star in season 2 of “Dexter: Resurrection.”
Luna will play Ray Ballard, a serial killer who goes by the name Sleepy Eyed Stranger. He will face series lead and returning star Michael C. Hall, the titular Dexter.
Luna is the latest addition to the second season of the Paramount+ series. Brian Cox will play the role of the New York Ripper, and Dan Stevens will play the Five Borough Killer. Bokeem Woodbine and Nona Parker Johnson will also be joining the cast for the new season, with Uma Thurman reprising her role as Charlie and Krysten Ritter returning.
Luna has recently appeared on shows such as Peacock’s The Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, HBO’s The Last of Us (scheduled to return for season 3), and Netflix’s FUBAR. He is also known for his roles on shows such as “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and for recently finishing production on “The Terminal List” Season 2. In movies, he has appeared in works such as “Astronaut” and “Terminator: New Fate.”
He is repped by UTA, Entertainment 360 and Ziffren Brittenham.
“Dexter: Resurrection” was developed by original series helmer Clyde Phillips. Clyde Phillips also serves as showrunner and executive producer on the new series. In addition to starring, Hall will also serve as executive producer. The film is executive produced by Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez and Lily Burns, and stars John Goldwyn, Sarah Colleton, Veronica West, Casa Lane, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
