“Plain” and “The Bricklayer” actor Oliver Trevena has joined Felicity Jones and Vincent Cassel in the new noir mystery thriller “Eleven Missing Days.”
The film tells the true story of Christie, played by Jones, who, at the height of her fame, disappeared from her home under strange circumstances and became front-page news. In a case of life imitating art, the criminal investigates the investigation behind her disappearance, which strangely resembles one of Christie’s own novels, with everyone in her life becoming suspects, including her brother Monty (Trebena).
The film is directed by Bertie Ellwood and written by Ernest Foronda, based on Christie scholar Jared Cade’s book Agatha Christie and the Eleven Lost Days. Currently in pre-production, the picture is scheduled to be shot in the UK this summer, with scope selection representing US rights.
Trevena has recently appeared in Hotel Tehran with Liam Neeson and Zachary Levi, the TIFF film The Cut with Orlando Bloom, Mermaid with Mel Gibson, the comedy Skinemax with Rory Culkin and Paris Jackson, and Ice Fall with Joel Kinnaman, who also served as executive producer.
He also recently won the Breakout Actor Award at the Rome Film Festival from his Plane co-star Gerard Butler for the premiere of the action thriller The Paradox Effect, in which he co-stars with Harvey Keitel and Olga Kurylenko. He also co-starred with the latter in Misdirection, which he produced.
The British actor and producer continues to be repped by Untitled Entertainment, Independent Talent Group and Rosenfeld, Meyer & Sussman.
