Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua openly flirted with Sidney Sweeney with some cheeky comments on social media.
The “Housemaid” actress said in an interview with Cosmopolitan on Thursday that she is looking for a man who is “athletic, outgoing and funny.”
“I’m a sports-loving girl, so I need someone with whom I can climb mountains and go skydiving,” she added. “And someone who loves his family. I love myself as a man…”
“I love skydiving,” the 24-year-old NFL star wrote in an interview with Complex on X.
Fans on the platform have noticed. “Pudney. Let’s make it happen,” one person quipped, while another wrote: “Let’s go puka.”
“Athletic, funny, and loving about her family? She literally represents the ‘perfect man’ checklist. The bar is high, but we love the sporty queen!” said a third.
“Damn, now we have to fight Puka Nacua,” a fourth man joked, while a fifth chimed in: “Shoot! I respect that.”
The comments come shortly after Sweeney’s Syrn lingerie was released earlier this week. The 28-year-old “Euphoria” bombshell told the magazine that her line of bras, corsets and other lingerie essentials is not “for men” and that she “uses it to empower other women.”
Sweeney, who was recently linked to Scooter Braun, also explained in an interview that there’s a reason she kept her long-term relationship a secret.
“I was in a relationship for a very long time, seven and a half years, and we never talked about it,” she said, apparently referring to her romance and engagement to Jonathan Davino, whom she split from last year.
“I was very private. No one ever saw us,” she added. “I think it’s important to have something for yourself.”
The White Lotus actress said she understands that she is a “public figure” but pointed out that she is still “in her 20s.”
“I’m still thinking about love, and it’s hard to do that with millions of people who have their own opinions about what it looks like,” she explained.
Meanwhile, Nacua may not have been the first athlete to take a shot with the “Christie” star. Professional athletes have reportedly been sliding into her DMs “constantly” and, according to The Sun, Brown finds it “incredibly rude.”
Sources told the outlet earlier this month that Sweeney was allegedly ignoring the messages and blocking the senders.
