Harper Beckham tried to make a touching visit to her estranged brother Brooklyn Beckham’s Los Angeles home on Friday, but unfortunately, she was out of luck.
Victoria and David Beckham’s 14-year-old daughter was spotted arriving at her eldest brother’s house in an SUV. In photos obtained exclusively by Page Six, she was seen approaching her home in Beverly Hills, Calif., around 2 p.m. Pacific time, shortly after celebrating her father’s star-studded Walk of Fame ceremony in Hollywood.
Harper appeared unannounced at his brother’s residence and left seconds later without seeing him, and a source confirmed to Page Six that neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola Peltz, were home at the time. The couple appears to be out.
The teenager was still wearing the same pink midi dress and sweater she wore to David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame event, which began at 10 a.m. PT in Hollywood. The entire family was on hand to cheer on the soccer star’s prestigious honor, with the exception of Brooklyn and Nicola, Page Six exclusively reported.
Reached for comment, a representative for Brooklyn and Peltz told Page Six: “The fact that there was a cameraman on the scene when the letter was handed out says it all. This was staged for the cameras.”
However, representatives for David and Victoria did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Harper’s attempt to build a relationship with her estranged brother comes five months after Brooklyn made bombshell comments on social media slamming her parents, especially her mother. It alleges she hijacked her first dance with Nicola at their 2022 wedding and “controlled coverage in the press” about her famous family.
The 27-year-old chef said frankly: “I don’t want to reconcile with my family.”
“I’m not being controlled. I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” he continued.
“My parents have always controlled the media coverage of our family with performative social media posts, family affairs, and fake relationships.…Recently, I saw with my own eyes the lengths to which they put countless lies into the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, in order to keep up appearances.”
Ms Brookin insisted that “the truth will come out” and claimed that Victoria, 52, and David, 51, had “constantly tried to ruin[his]relationship” with Mr Peltz, 31, before they walked the aisle in a lavish ceremony in Florida four years ago.
Brooklyn insisted that the effort has “not stopped” since then. “Mum canceled the production of Nicola’s dress at the 11th hour, even though she was so looking forward to Nicola wearing her design, leaving Nicola scrambling to find a new dress,” he wrote.
The photographer also accused his parents of “repeatedly pressuring and attempting to bribe” him to “relinquish the rights” to his name before the wedding, and claimed that “members of (his) family” told him his bride was “not family” and “not related by blood.”
After his “resistance,” Brooklyn wrote, her parents “have never treated me the same way since.”
Most memorably, Beckham wrote, “Marc Anthony called me on stage in front of 500 wedding guests. The schedule was for a romantic dance with my wife, but instead he waited for my mother to dance with me.”
He added of the moment: “She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I have never felt so uncomfortable and humiliated in my life.”
Brooklyn defended his wife, closing the statement by saying the couple “doesn’t want a life defined by images, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for ourselves and our future families.”
Since then, relations between the family members have been at an impasse, with Brooklyn instructing them to contact her only through her lawyer.
While it’s clear that Brooklyn is disrespected by the Walk of Fame, sources told Page Six earlier this month that it would never have happened.
“Even if they wanted to see them on the Walk of Fame, Nicola wouldn’t have been so happy about it,” a source told Page Six.
Another source said: “Two things could be true: Nicola could be difficult and Brooklyn doesn’t want to see her parents.”
“Brooklyn has made it clear he doesn’t want to see his parents, but the rest of his family misses him,” a source previously told Page Six about the ongoing feud.
