Natasha Lyonne walks red carpet after being reportedly removed from a plane

Natasha Lyonne walked the red carpet at the premiere of Focus Features’ documentary film The Lawn on April 9 in New York City, hours after criticizing a Page Six report that claimed she was removed from a Los Angeles-to-New York flight before takeoff. The Emmy nominee was returning to the East Coast after the Hollywood premiere of Season 3 of HBO’s Euphoria, where she made headlines for wearing a see-through top.

Hours after the Page Six report was published, Rion posted to X on social media: “My heart goes out to all the unpaid TSA workers at our airports. I was certainly looking forward to speaking with Drew Barrymore yesterday, but I never expected it. Who owns Page Six/New York Post again?”

At the “Lone” afterparty, Lyonne was seen mingling with various guests and posing for photos with friends including Seth Meyers and Sarah Sherman. The documentary about “Saturday Night Live” creator Lorne Michaels is directed by Oscar winner Morgan Neville and will be released in theaters on April 17th. Ahead of the premiere, Lyonne walked the red carpet with her friend Hammer Morgenstern, taking photos together and some solo shots.

Lyon relapsed on X in January and revealed he was no longer sober, but in March he returned with fans and announced he was “much better and on his feet.”

“I want to thank our recovery community and our fans for standing by and supporting us,” the comedian added at the time. “While I would like to keep this journey private in some way, I am naturally looking forward to sharing my experiences, strength, and hope.”

After attending the Sundance Film Festival in late January, the “Poker Face” star wrote about his relapse, writing, “Recovery is a lifelong process. To everyone who is suffering, please remember that you are not alone. Thank you for the love and smart feet. I’m doing it for Baby Bumbo.” Stay honest, guys. Even if no one tells you today, I love you. No matter how low we fall, you’ll see how our experiences can help others.” Let’s go, kids, don’t quit before the miracle happens. Rest is all noise and foolishness. ”

Among Rion’s upcoming projects is the indie film “Bumbo,” which she will write and direct.
