Justin Bieber performed his second headlining set at Coachella. She invited Billie Eilish on stage while singing her 2009 hit “One Less Lonely Girl.” The “Birds of a Feather” singer was thrilled to be sung by Bieber.
On Saturday night, Justin Bieber performed for the second time this weekend at Coachella in Indio, California, welcoming a number of special guests to the stage. But one of the most exciting guests was pop star Billie Eilish. Eilish did not perform with Bieber. Instead, she ended up playing the role of a superfan.
Eilish has been very open about her love for Bieber’s music over the years. The “Baby” singer traditionally serenades fans in the audience while performing her 2009 hit “One Less Lonely Girl.” Eilish was encouraged to go on stage to accept the role, and got so excited that she got down on her knees several times.
Bieber hugged her from behind and encouraged her to stand up as she continued singing. When he finished speaking, he said to her, “It’s just you, Shorty.”
They hugged before Eilish returned to the crowd. Eilish has met Bieber before, and they worked together on a remix of Bieber’s song “Bad Guy.” However, this was clearly a very different experience for the 24-year-old singer.
Bieber also welcomed rappers Big Sean and Sexy Red, as well as SZA, during his set. During his first performance at Coachella on April 11th, he performed songs from his latest albums, SWAG and SWAG II. That night he brought up The Kid LAROI, Dijon, Tems, WizKid, and Mk.gee. Last week’s show was attended by Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Jacob Elordi, and Hailey Bieber, who was in the audience again this week. The Lorde founder is thought to have probably pushed Eilish on stage for her big moment and encouraged her to share the stage with her heroes.
