Justin Bieber performed at the 2026 Grammy Awards wearing only boxers and socks, showing off extensive body art, including a new tattoo on his back.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice the fresh ink, with many pointing out that it bore an uncanny resemblance to his wife Hailey Bieber.
“Did Justin get Hailey’s portrait tattooed on his back?” one X user wrote, adding that the image appears to be a specific shot from the Lorde founder’s 2020 Elle cover shoot.
The pop star has amassed quite a collection of tattoos over the years, having first started inking himself on his 16th birthday, but has previously said he was saving his back for something special.
“My back is still pretty open,” he explained in the documentary “Justin Bieber: The Next Chapter.” “I don’t have any children yet, so I’m thinking of putting their portraits on my back.”
This isn’t the first time the “Baby” singer has expressed his love for a model. In April 2026, he showed off a wrist tattoo that appeared to read “H22” on an Instagram livestream. (Haley’s birthday is November 22, and her son Jack Bruce was born on August 22, 2024.)
The couple also has matching peach tattoos, a nod to his song “Peaches.” Meanwhile, the model has multiple designs dedicated to her husband, including a “J” on her left ring finger.
For her first Grammy Awards performance in four years, the star put everything on full display, leaving little to the imagination in crystal-encrusted underwear from her brand Skyllk.
Presenter Trevor Noah joked: “If we made one mistake we would have had to put this show on Only Fans. That was brave.”
Bieber’s acoustic performance of “Yukon” was stripped down in many ways, but he looked polished on the red carpet in an oversized black Balenciaga suit and a 100-carat diamond Lorraine Schwartz necklace.
Hailey wore some of her own diamond accessories designed by Schwartz, as well as a strapless black Alaia dress.
This year is a big one for Bieber as he is also headlining Coachella. Bieber said his wife was a “driving force” in making major career decisions.
She seems to have his back in many ways.
