Ella Bleu Travolta is one to watch on the red carpet.
The 26-year-old brunette supported her famous father, John Travolta, at the New York City premiere of his directorial debut, The Propeller, and even co-ordinated his costumes for the occasion.
For Thursday night’s event at the Museum of Modern Art, Ella chose a vintage-inspired Miu Miu sheath dress.
The cloqué dress, printed with blue flowers and green leaves, featured a Duchess ribbon and crystal-embroidered straps on the front.
Ella wore a slim halter neckline and her hair in a 1950s-inspired updo, adding a touch of sparkle with diamond huggy earrings.
Her father also opted for a blue colored story, wearing a navy three-piece suit with a bow tie and his now signature beret.
The 72-year-old actor recently made headlines when he wore a French hat at the Cannes Film Festival.
Travolta explained in an interview with CNN that he wears the beret and glasses to present himself as a director rather than an actor.
“I said, ‘Now you’re a director. You’re an actor, you play the role of a director, and it’s like being an old-school director,'” he said.
“I looked at pictures from the ’20s, ’30s, ’40s, ’50s and ’60s, and old-school directors were wearing berets, they were wearing glasses, and I thought, ‘That’s what I’m doing. I’m paying homage to being a director. So I’m going to play the role of a director.'”
Ella stars as a flight attendant in “Propeller Night Bus,” which is based on Travolta’s 1997 book of the same name.
The two recently appeared together on the Today show, during which Travolta said, “We were planning to introduce the grown-up Ella to the world in a very Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly kind of way…It’s been a huge impact so far. So, you know, I’m very proud of her.”
