Comedian Tiffany Haddish, who guest-hosted “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for the first time last year, will return to fill in this summer as Kimmel takes his annual summer break. Haddish will host the week of July 6th.
Kimmel is wrapping up his last televised episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday before going on vacation. The summer guest host roster is a tradition for the show. Other guests joining Haddish include Anthony Anderson, Ike Barinholtz, Colman Domingo, Rosie O’Donnell and Jelly Roll. (“Jimmy Kimmel Live” will be repeated until after the July 4th holiday).
Anderson, of course, is the most frequent guest host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” having already done 24 episodes over the years. He is a longtime friend of Kimmel and the show, known as a guest on the couch and even as a regular on Kimmel’s “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” special.
This will be Barinholtz’s first time hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” as a guest. He is also a frequent freak guest, and famously won the top prize of $1 million on Kimmel’s 2024 show, “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” along with his father, Alan Barinholtz. (Barinholtz’s talk show accomplishments extend to the 2019 film “Late Night.”)
As Kimmel previously announced on his show, Domingo will host “JKL” for the first time the week of July 20. In addition to hosting an episode of “SNL” in April, Domingo also hosted his own talk show on AMC, “Bottomless Brunch at Colman’s.”
On the other hand, this is the first time for CEO O’Donnell to host ‘JKL’. And then there’s Jelly Roll, who returned as a guest host on two episodes of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in July 2025.
Kimmel began hiring guest hosts in the summer of 2020. Others include Chelsea Handler, Martin Short, Kumail Nanjiani, RuPaul, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and more. Guest hosts in 2025 also included Diego Luna, Nicole Byer, Alan Cumming, Chris DiStefano, and Fortune Feimster.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs weekdays at 11:35pm ET on ABC and streams on Hulu the next day. Kimmel, Erin Irwin, Molly McNerney, Jennifer Sharon and David Craig will serve as executive producers. Douglas DeLuca and Danny Ricker will serve as co-executive producers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is presented by 12:05 AM Productions LLC in association with Kimmelo and 20th Television.
