Despite recently filing for divorce after 10 years of marriage, Bunny Zoe plans to have a child with Jelly Roll.
The influencer appeared on her “Dumb Blonde” podcast on Thursday to share the emotional news, saying she “will not be deterred” from pursuing motherhood with the “Save Me” hitmaker.
Bunny gushed that Jelly Roll is “so good that we’re still together and having a baby” and that she “hopes the same thing for him” during their separation.
“We intend to raise our little Nugget as a big, happy family,” explained the podcaster, whose real name is Alisa Andrea Carter.
Elsewhere in the interview, Bunny said her IVF journey was difficult.
“For the last two years, when I decided to have a baby, I had to go through IVF,” she began, adding, “My hat is off to all the women, families and couples who are going through IVF, because let me tell you this, dude, it’s one of the loneliest, darkest journeys you’re ever going to go through.”
“Yes, everyone sees a reward at the end, but it’s not just the bells and whistles. It’s not a beautiful journey. I was completely devastated,” she added.
Bunny said she and her estranged husband, who claimed he had a low sperm count, were taking “hormone drugs” at the same time, creating a chaotic atmosphere.
She revealed that during three embryo transfers, the former couple lost four embryos. “The two twins we were trying to have, and then we lost the other two.”
“And anyone who goes through that and has to deal with a miscarriage, it’s heartbreaking,” she revealed. “It’s very heartbreaking.”
“I’m mad at God because, ‘Why is it so easy for people who don’t deserve to have children to have children?'” she recalled, noting that she and Jelly Roll were “two people who really wanted to have a baby together.”
Bunny said she feels her bond with her ex is “traumatic at the moment” despite the obstacles that “took a huge toll” on their relationship.
A representative for Jelly Roll did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment Thursday night.
Bunny, 46, also revealed during the episode that a fight on Mother’s Day was the reason for her breakup with the 41-year-old country star.
“On Mother’s Day, we had a little argument, but I don’t think I need the details,” she recalled. “And in the middle of that argument, I was so fed up and tired that I just looked at him and said, ‘Well, let’s file for divorce.'”
Page Six confirmed earlier this week that the singer (real name Jason Bradley Deford) did just that, filing for divorce from the media personality on May 18 in Williamson County, Tennessee.
The former couple, who married in Las Vegas in 2016, separated in 2018, but reconciled and renewed their vows in 2023.
During their marriage, Jelly Roll spoke openly about his admitted infidelity and his journey to sobriety.
Signs that their relationship was on the rocks emerged earlier this year when fans on social media pointed out that he was ditching his wedding ring.
Last month, a week after their separation date on May 9, Bunny appeared to respond to the divorce with a sultry video in which she compared her ex-lovers to trash cans.
Meanwhile, Jelly Roll removed the bunny tag from his Instagram profile along with the lock and key emoji during their separation.
