Meghan Trainor is all about that family.
The pop star, who rose to fame in 2014 with the release of her first single “All About That Base,” has three children with her husband, “Spy Kids” star Daryl Sabara.
Their romance debuted in 2016, with the actor popping the question on his current wife’s 24th birthday the following year.
In December 2017, Traynor said, “The love of my life, @darylsabara, has made all my dreams come true. He proposed under a tunnel of beautiful Christmas lights and surprised me with my family and friends. I’m still in shock. I’ve never been this happy!”
The two got married on the singer’s 25th birthday.
Since then, the pair have welcomed sons Riley and Barry, and daughter Mikey, and in April 2026, Traynor made headlines when he canceled his 2026 Get in Girl tour to focus on his family.

Daryl Sabara
By the time Traynor started dating Sabara, the child star had reprized her role from Juni Cortez in three sequels and appeared in episodes of popular shows such as Friends and Will & Grace.
Since then, Sabara has appeared in a series of Trainor’s music videos, including “Made You Look,” “My Kind of Present,” and “To the Moon.”
In 2025, Sabara talks about keeping the sparkle in her marriage.
“It’s all about communication,” he told viewers of “The Drew Barrymore Show” at the time. “We don’t talk most of the day because she’s at work and I’m with the kids. We really just sit and make eye contact and put the phone away and talk.”
In their podcast “Workin’ On It with Meghan Trainor & Ryan Trainor,” which debuted in 2021, the two have often had “discussions” with Meghan’s brother Ryan.
The couple has also been undergoing couples therapy, which Meghan revealed to Us Weekly in April 2026, explaining, “When you have young children… your marriage gets pushed to the side and you start thinking, ‘Why are we fighting? We’re on the same team.'”

Trainor and Sabara welcomed their first child, son Riley, on February 8, 2021.
The pair shared the news on social media, with Sabara gushed: “@meghan_trainor you are my forever valentine. Thank you so much for bringing our son into this world ❤️.”
Four months later on the “Today” show, Trainor recalled that Riley experienced “breathing issues” after arriving for a C-section.
“That was one of the horror stories where he didn’t cry,” she revealed in a June 2021 interview. “He didn’t make a sound when he came out. I thought, ‘Why isn’t he crying?'” It was scary. ”
The infant was able to go home after five days, and the following year it became a hot topic that he started wearing glasses.
When Riley celebrated her fifth birthday in February 2026, Meghan raved: “You’re so proud of us. You’re so smart and so silly. You’re always trying to make everyone laugh.”
barry
Barry Bruce joined the family on July 1, 2023.
Notably, his birth coincided with the anniversary of Traynor and Sabara’s first date.
“He was a big boy, 8 pounds, 7 ounces…and was on his side (sideways), but we had a great C-section and finally got some skin-to-skin time!” Meghan announced on Instagram at the time. “Thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses who took such great care of us.”
On his first birthday in 2024, the songwriter exclaimed, “My Sweet Barry Boy is alone!!! What’s going on! I blinked, but it feels like I’ve known you forever. We all love you so much! Thank you for your beautiful smile and sweet hugs and kisses.”
mikey moon
Duchess Meghan and Sabara surprised fans in January 2026 when they announced that they had given birth to their third child via surrogate.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally come into the world thanks to our incredible superwoman surrogate mother,” the performer wrote on Instagram at the time. “I am forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, and teams who made this dream a reality.
“During this journey, we had many discussions with our doctors and this was the safest way for us to continue to grow our family. We are in love and over the moon,” she continued, noting that Riley and Barry chose her sister’s middle name.
Later that same week, Meghan defended her use of gestational carriers, telling People that “every family’s journey looks different and they’re all very valid.”
