Estee Williams’ baby girl Estelle died after being told she was not a candidate for a heart transplant due to various health complications.
The influencer announced the tragic death of her 8-month-old baby on her Instagram Story over the weekend.
“Until we meet again, my sweet Estelle,” she wrote above a photo of herself holding an infant born with the congenital heart disease ventricular septal defect (VSD).
Williams confirmed to People that her daughter died of multiple organ failure.
Estelle was born in September 2025 to Williams and her husband Connor. Two days after her birth, she was diagnosed with VSD, a hole in the wall that separates the lower chamber of the heart, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Williams’ family set up a now-defunct GoFundMe, saying Estelle underwent “a very difficult and delicate open heart surgery at just 11 weeks old.”
In December 2025, the infant went into cardiac arrest and was placed on life support.
That same month, the baby underwent another open-heart surgery and was discharged from the hospital.
Williams said her daughter had a status 1A heart transplant. This falls under the highest medical urgency category on the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) pediatric heart transplant waiting list.
However, Estelle was removed from the top of the transplant list in April due to ongoing health complications.
According to People, Williams wrote on her Instagram Story at the time: “I was at the top of the list in the Northeast so I was disappointed. But I have faith in God’s timing so I’ll be okay.”
“Her team is testing her other organs one by one to qualify for a heart transplant following the shock she received a few weeks ago. We will get there!” she added.
Williams announced last month that her baby girl had been taken off the heart transplant list for the second time.
“This has been a very tough week,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Esther is no longer eligible for a heart transplant again.”
