Page 6 learned that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse continued to rap engagement for a while.
Sources only informed Tuesday that the Kansas City Chiefs actually proposed to the pop superstar “a few weeks ago.” The exact date of the proposal is not immediately known.
It is unclear whether it occurred before or after recording an episode of the “New Heights” podcast posted on August 13th. However, Kelse already boasted short hair, which debuted in late July.
Swift and Kelce, 35, did not publish engagement news until Tuesday.
The NFL star and Grammy Award winner captioned a co-post via Instagram, “Your English Teacher and Jim Teacher are Married.”
The slideshow also featured images of Kelse on one knee in a beautiful garden, popping questions with a vibrant cut sparkler from an old mine co-designed by Kindred Lubec.

Travis and Swift have been dating since the summer of 2023 after the Super Bowl champion met Swift on a tour of her era on his “New Heights” podcast and wanted to give her a number.
The “Lovers” singer shared in a record-breaking episode of the Pro Three Podcast that he felt that “wild romantic gestures” of a pro athlete were like a John Hughes movie of the 80s.
“He threw a tantrum. He threw a man’s touch,” she joked.
“‘I want to date you!” This guy hadn’t seen him, so he makes it a problem for everyone. ”
Swift said, “If this guy wasn’t crazy, um, this was like I’ve written songs about how I wanted to happen to me since I was a teenager.”
Reps from the Swift, Travis and Kelce family did not immediately return a request for comment on Page 6.
