Hailey Bieber’s latest look would be perfect for “Love Story.”
But the model isn’t channeling Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, instead, she pulled something out of Kelly Klein’s closet.
The model traded her favorite Saint Laurent style for ’90s Calvin Klein, wearing the New York-based designer’s vintage-inspired sheer lace dress on the red carpet at Thursday night’s Time 100 Gala.
The gown, made from sheer iridescent lace, boasted an underwire top with minimalist spaghetti straps and a silhouette that grazed her body as it fell to the floor.
This look was first unveiled in Calvin Klein’s Spring 1992 collection and was heavily inspired by a look later worn by the designer’s wife and muse, Kelly Klein, at the CFDA Awards that same year.
Styled by Andrew Mukamal, Bieber continued to dabble in the archives when it came to jewelry, wearing antique old mine-cut diamond drop earrings by Bryony Raymond.
The giant sparkler weighed a whopping 20 carats, and she wore no other jewelry aside from her engagement ring and classy watch.
Bieber has been wearing some pretty sheer lace gowns lately.
Last month, the 29-year-old attended Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s Oscar party wearing a completely sheer lace panel slip dress by The Attico, with lingerie visible underneath.
And in February, she attended the Sydney premiere of Wuthering Heights wearing a gothic-inspired sheer black lace Saint Laurent dress.
