Hailey Bieber, Alix Earle and other stars were seen arriving for the first night of American Express Presents Carbon Beach on Friday, days before the engines revved up at the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
A source told Page Six that the Lorde founder, 29, arrived alone with a small entourage during cocktail hour and was taken to the dining room before the restaurant opened for privacy as he did not want to be photographed.
“She wanted to enjoy the night without anyone noticing,” a spy told us.
Bieber was seated among several VIPs, including Bravo alum Bethenny Frankel and her new boyfriend, Shane L. Campbell.
Alix Earle was also in attendance at the party, wearing a cream colored dress, strappy sandals and an updo.
Shortly after the TikTok star entered the party, her ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios arrived separately. And our spy told us they were sitting at another table.
Berrios was sitting at a top table with Miami hospitality mogul Miles Shear.
Other celebrities at the party included Kevin O’Leary, Wayne Boich, Julia Hart, and her eldest daughter Bathsheba.
Kevin Hart was then seen walking to a table during dinner and posing for a photo with DJ Khaled, who arrived even later than the comedian.
At one point, Frankel was seen getting up from her chair and dancing, and a source said, “She seemed to be feeling the music.”
Major Food Group co-founders Mario Carbone and Jeff Zalaznick were spotted touring the ultra-exclusive supper club on the beach.
At 11 p.m., surprise performer Ludacris took the stage to rap his biggest hits, including “My Chick Bad,” “Area Codes” and “Act a Fool.” He then brought DJ Khaled, Fat Joe, Wyclef Jean, and Jamie Foxx on stage to perform with him.
“The crowd was going wild,” said a partygoer, adding: “Jamie sang ‘Gold Digger’ and showed off his pipes.”
Earl also took to the stage to take selfies with Ludacris and other A-list attendees, capturing the energetic night.
Ahead of the fifth annual event, Chef Carbone spoke exclusively to Page Six about what makes A-listers return to this sumptuous dinner time and time again.
“There’s nothing like this during a Grand Prix,” he said. “But I think in general, over the last few years, it’s really come into its own. It’s a really, very special event between the food production, the event production, the setting, the location, and definitely the entertainment. It’s a combination of all of those things.”
He also reflected on his favorite celebrity memory from the annual soiree, which featured a moving performance by Andrea Boccelli.
“To have performers of that caliber in our space, singing songs that I know so well and that my mom loves…the whole experience was very, very emotional,” the culinary visionary said.
Past stars who have attended Carbon Beach include Jeff Bezos, Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, David Beckham, Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, LeBron James, James Corden, Serena Williams, Jamie Foxx, and more.
Previous performers include Lauryn Hill, Kygo, The Chainsmokers, T-Pain, Diana Ross, Nas, LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, and Busta Rhymes are just some of the artists perfect for the pasta-loving crowd.
Saturday’s performance will be none other than Snoop Dogg, who will also be on stage at E11 later in the evening.
