David Harbor has spoken out with his ex-wife Lily Allen, accusing her of cheating on her 2025 studio album West End Girl.
“It was weird,” the “Stranger Things” star told Variety in an interview published Wednesday.
“I believe it is the privilege of every artist to use their experiences to create art, and I admire her for doing so.”
When asked if he wanted to deny the allegations against him, Haber, 51, said:
“That’s why I say I respect works of art that convey her experiences. That wasn’t my experience,” the actor continued, explaining that “the ability to turn life into art was through acting.”
He highlighted his role as ASL interpreter Floyd Smarnich in the upcoming HBO series “DTF St. Louis,” a role that required him to undergo physical changes and wear a prosthetic abdomen.
Mr. Haber did not elaborate on the matter, saying, “I can’t say any more.”
“It’s my personal life,” the “Hellboy” star added. “Despite the fact that many people do not allow me a private life, I value it.
“And I value the lives of the people I interact with in private,” he concluded. “We just don’t talk about it.”
A representative for Mr. Allen, 41, could not be reached for comment.
In February 2025, it was revealed that the songwriter and Harbor had separated after four years of marriage, and Allen hinted at their breakup in a studio album released in October of the same year.
In the song “Dallas Major,” the Grammy nominee hinted that the “Black Widow” star was a “sex addict,” although he was not directly named, and that they were in an “open” relationship when the latter “went astray.”
Also on Record 14, Allen accused his partner of leading a “double life,” claiming that she found a stash of lube, sex toys and condoms in a song titled “P-sy Palace.”
She also claimed to have found a Bergdorf Goodman receipt in the song “4chan Stan,” singing, “I took someone shopping there on May 24th/Buy her a handbag, it ain’t cheap.”

Allen, who officially filed for divorce in September, later addressed the album in an interview with Perfect Magazine, claiming, “There’s definitely some things that happened in my real life that are reflected in this record.”
“Two people who were once together are no longer together. It’s really sad. It’s hard. It’s hard for me to not have a lover, right?”
