Dave Portnoy wants Alix Earle to stop “attacking” Alex Cooper if she doesn’t intend to make their beef public.
The Barstool Sports creator slammed Earl on Tuesday in his “Tea by the Sea” TikTok video, claiming that the 25-year-old “likes both girls” but has been going through his feud with Cooper, 31, “like a fucking dog.”
He noted that Earle has not yet aired her issues with Cooper, as the “Call Daddy” host urged her to do in an April video.
“Maybe I’m old school…but if you’re going to talk, talk, take pictures, if someone calls, you better answer the bell,” Portnoy told his followers.
“I’m not going to take a veiled shot at someone and then just disappear when they say, ‘Okay, let’s go, let’s hear what’s going on,'” he said. “If you’re going to croak, croak, croak, answer the bell.”
He noted that Earl likely “receives advice from about 3,000 people and works with a team of about 40 public relations people.”
Portnoy is now “Team Cooper” after Earl said “zip” what actually happened online, despite not knowing “what really happened” among influencers.
He captioned the upload: “I know all the girls are #teamalix but I hate her response to this Alex Cooper controversy.”
A representative for Earle did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Mr. Portnoy’s scathing remarks came hours after Mr. Earle dodged a question about Mr. Cooper on the Today show, even as Craig Melvin pursued him.
“We’re trying to keep things pretty positive today,” Earl said. “Honestly, we don’t have that much time here. And I was wondering why you would ruin such a good day with something that wasn’t so good.”
When Melvin, 46, tried to find out whether the feud was “legitimate,” Earle said in a seemingly sarcastic tone: “No, that’s an exaggeration. I love you all.”
Fans have speculated that the two internet personalities have been fighting since February 2025, when Cooper removed Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast from her ill-health network.
Last month, Cooper confirmed this speculation in a TikTok video in which she called Earle by name and told him to “stop hiding behind everyone else.”
She also engaged in “passive-aggressive reposting and liking” of Earle on social media.
“Alix Earl, hey, young lady. …I have to call you here. You need to be specific and say what you have to say about me. There’s no non-disclosure agreement. No one’s going to stop you.”
Earl responded to Cooper’s plea, writing, “Okay, that’s it!!” in the comments section — but has yet to reveal her side of the story.
But Earl also posted a clip of the moment he learned of Cooper’s brutal video, giving fans hope that Earl and his team are planning a response.
