Reacher’s Alan Ritchson gets passionate about politics on the latest episode of Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, gushing about the Epstein file and the “fucking rapists” in politics.
“Fucking Epstein files! Fuck you! Where are they? That’s the fucking law, bitch. Show me you fucking pedophiles,” Ritchson said. “I shouldn’t say ‘fuck’ because I’m a Christian. And people will say, ‘How can you say f**k if you’re a Christian?’ Because that’s what makes you want to say f**k.”
In typical Jack Reacher fashion, Ritchson continued, “This is my fucking politics, man, I’d train these assholes. Get the Epstein files out in two seconds. Get out of the way. Well, there. Get out of here. I don’t care what room they’re in. Bitch, just give me the damn manila envelope and I’ll bring you the Epstein files. Don’t you want to see what’s in there to hold people?
Although he didn’t reveal his name, the hulking action star seems to have his eye on politicians with considerable power. “That woman has the nuclear keys. He’s like 13 years old. Hey, what? Go to jail. Go to jail.”
Before his rant, Richison joked that a publicist was “biting his nails” somewhere and described some actors as “losing” the gene that makes them “afraid to voice their opinions.” “Everyone around me is scared of what I’m about to say,” Ritchson said, adding that he was not a “loose cannon” and was “just saying what anyone should say if they disrespect humanity.”
Ritchson also spoke about his friendship with fellow action star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who he said “really wanted” Ritchson to enter politics. Although he hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility, he said he’s not ready to retire from acting just yet.
“Maybe there will come a time when you feel like you have enough resources or you feel like you have enough visibility to really impact the lives of a lot of people,” Ritchson said. “I care deeply about the outliers, the maligned people who live very difficult lives, the forgotten, the overlooked, the unwanted, the unloved. I care deeply about making the world fairer and freer for them.”
