Andy Dick happily signed autographs for fans in Los Angeles, months after his near-fatal overdose.
The comedian was photographed Friday at a booth at the Hollywood Show convention, chatting with attendees and signing autographs.
The “News Radio” alumnus, 60, stepped out wearing a pinstripe jacket over a black T-shirt.
A representative for the “Andy Dick Show” star did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Page Six over the weekend.
This appearance came more than five months after Dick was found unconscious in Los Angeles from an apparent overdose.
On December 9, while friends Adam Carbone and Alexander Bailey were filming Dick in Hollywood, the comedian had a falling out with a man he passed on the street and ended up smoking crack cocaine.
Footage obtained by TMZ at the time showed the “Road Trip” star collapsing on concrete steps as bystanders tried to revive him and call for help.
The “Employee of the Month” star has a serious past with drug and alcohol problems, but was revived after receiving four injections of Narcan, a drug that reverses the effects of an opioid overdose.
After the horrific incident, Dick told Page Six in January that he “justly died.”
“This is not funny, and I don’t remember it, but it’s said that I came to life, sat up, and the first thing out of my mouth was, ‘Where’s the vodka?'”
He continued, “I don’t remember. I was still in a daze…I had just come back from the dead and the Narcan had just woken me up. I was losing my mind.”
Dick was eventually admitted to a rehabilitation facility in Palm Springs and was discharged less than two months later.
“(Rehab) was over and over and over and over again,” he said in a phone interview after leaving rehab.
“This time feels different, but I think that’s mainly because I actually died and I can’t believe I came back to life.”
In March, he reflected on the near-death incident in a podcast interview and joked, “There was no bright light. (If there was), I would like to go back.”
“They did a CAT scan, or whatever they call it in the brain, and I have all these things, five to seven holes,” he told Howie Mandel during an episode of “Howie Mandel Does Stuff.”
According to the Cleveland Clinic, these brain disorders can occur as a result of a variety of conditions, including stress and traumatic brain injury.
However, Dick’s representatives said the apparent “holes” were from previous incidents.
“His brain issues are the result of a 2019 attack in which an unprovoked attacker cold-cocked Andy and nearly killed him while he was outside a club where he had just performed with Paris Dylan,” his rep said in a statement. “We are confident his brain will heal.”
He also said the troubled comedian had “battled addiction for years” but was “healthy, sober and doing very well.”
