Selena Gomez talked about her wedding in two interviews this week. The star touched on her wedding plans and jokingly revealed who the bearer of her ring will be. TMZ reported last week that Gomez and Benny Blanco will be married in late September.
Selena Gomez is reportedly married to Benny Blanco in late September, and ahead of the ceremony, the actress promoted the latest season of the building’s murder this week, so she shared a little more information about the celebration in multiple interviews this week.
On tonight’s show with Jimmy Fallon, Gomez was asked if he enjoyed planning the event. “That’s great,” she said. “I’m very fortunate. It’s going well. I’m very excited,” she added that her only murderer co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin have been invited “of course.” “Marty is a ring bearer,” she joked.
“We all are very excited because we love this woman,” Short added. “And we love her fiancé.”
Earlier this week, Allure published a cover story about Gomez. Gomez revealed in the story that he uses Pinterest to help with his plans. “I have a folder of inspiration for weddings, cooking and style,” she explained.
But she and Blanco said “I don’t know what route we’re going to take,” and when they ended up discussing how far they were, she played the carp.
Still, Gomez is grateful for the timing as a couple, telling the outlet that if they were on a date five or ten years ago, they wouldn’t have reached this point. “I don’t think I was matured remotely enough,” she said. “It’s strange to think I wasn’t in the right place just five years ago, but I’ve learned so many lessons that (since then) have led me to be the best partner I can do for Benny, and I believe in the same thing as him.”
She said, “He said, ‘Well, why did he waste so much time?’ And I always say, “You wouldn’t like me at the time.” I was everywhere. ”
Gomez also revealed that they are about to move into their new home in Beverly Hills.
Blanco and Gomez will also celebrate their wedding in Southern California. Sources told TMZ last week that they would be married in Montecito at a secret venue where guests will be closed at the end of September. Paris Hilton revealed that she was among the participants at the MTV VMA.
