Specifically, “Happy’s Place” was the three of them participated in the Pub Set NBC Comedy Series as guest stars for Season 2. The comedy will return on November 7th.
Lloyd plays Clive, who loses the phone at a happy place and returns to get it back. Kane plays Teresa, the wife of Clive, a free woman who pursues justice and excitement. Oteri is Monica, a nonsense health inspector assigned to a Happy Place. She is a stickler who takes her job seriously and refuses to cut corners when it comes to cleanliness.
Reba McEntire has inherited his father’s tavern and pinned “Happy’s Place” as Bobby, surprised to meet his new business partner, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo). “In Season 2, Happy’s Place opens the door again, allowing long-standing secrets to become light, testing loyalty and shaking things in the tavern,” reads Logline. “Through that, Bobby has to remind everyone that his family wasn’t what you were born with, but that’s the people who stand by your side, even at work.
Alongside McEntire and Escobedo, “Happy’s Place” stars Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castel Blanco, Tokara Black Elk and Rexlin. Author Kevin Abbott’s executives will be produced by Mantoia, Michael Hannell, Mindy Schultis, Matt Berry and Pamela Freyman. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of the Universal Studios Group. The series is created by Kevin Abbott and Julie Abbott.
Lloyd is best known for his “Back to the Future” trilogy, and for his role in “Flying around Cuckoo’s Nest” and “Tax.” He was recently nominated for the fourth Emmy Award for the guest role in “Hacking,” and can be seen in season 2 of “Wednesday” and “Nobody 2.” He is represented by Gersh and Jacob Greenspan.
Kane is also a “taxi” native and is an Oscar nominee for her performance on “Hester Street.” She is a two-time Emmy Award winner, and her credits include audio work on “Chicago Hope,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” “Hunter,” “Big Mouth,” and “The Simpsons.” Kane is represented by Liebman Entertainment and Stewart’s talents.
Oteri is a veteran of Saturday Night Live and reappeared with Hulu’s “Mid Century Modern” and HBO Max’s “Just like that.” Her credits also include Scary Movie, Inspector Gadget, Liar Liar, and Dumb and Dumberer. Oteri is represented by Brave Artists Management and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.
