Toho International, the American subsidiary of Japan’s Toho Co., Ltd., will return to Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles this July with an immersive booth and franchise panels featuring My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of “My Hero Academia” and the 5th anniversary of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” the Toho Animation booth will be holding special activations for “Free Ren: Beyond the End of the Journey,” “The Apothecary’s Monologue,” and “I’m an Incompetent Villainous Daughter.”
Four franchise panels are scheduled over the weekend of July 3-5. The “Apothecary’s Diary” panel, hosted by Crunchyroll and NTV, begins programming on Friday, July 3. On Saturday, the “I’m an Incompetent Villain” panel featuring Japanese voice actors Hana Hishikawa and Makoto Furukawa will be aired, followed by the “My Hero Academia” panel featuring Daiki Yamashita (voice of Deku) and Koki Uchiyama (Shiki). Director Tomoya Kitagawa, assistant director Keiichiro Saito, character designer Keisuke Kojima, and animation producer Yuichiro Fukushi will be in attendance at Saturday night’s “Free Ren: Beyond the Journey’s End” panel. The weekend concludes on Sunday with a Jujutsu Kaisen panel featuring Junya Enoki and British voice actor Adam MacArthur (both of whom play Yuhito Kojo).
The booth will also sell convention-exclusive merchandise and limited-edition collectibles, as well as provide free badge clip-ons at the entrance, covering series such as “Spy x Family” and “Kaiju No. 8.” Blind gift bags (mini clip-on shoppers containing an eco-bag with chibi artwork from one of the four series) will be distributed throughout the weekend (limit one per guest). Social media giveaways of limited edition merchandise and autographed colored paper are open to U.S. residents 18 years of age and older, including those not participating in the convention.
Anime Expo 2026 will be held from July 3rd to 6th at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
