Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of the actor and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, is extremely close to his extended family. His wife, Abby Champion, fits quickly.
The model will take part in a family event with his partner’s father Arnold, his mother Maria Schreiber, and the oldest Katherine Schwarzenegger, who is married to Chris Pratt. Patrick has a younger brother named Christopher and a second older sister, Christina.
Champion and Schwarzenegger were together for almost ten years, but were engaged only in 2024. At that point, they both accomplished a lot. Who is Abby Champion?
The 26-year-old was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. In an interview with Love Magazine in 2019, she explained that her childhood home is on a “quiet street” with plenty of land around it. She told Vestavia in 2016 that Southern upbringing “tells us to have good manners, enjoy good food and remind us of the importance of faith and family.”
She has three brothers and she appears to be in close relationships.
The champion’s older sister Baskin is also a model. She was particularly crowned Missteen Alabama in 2014.
At Baskin’s 2014 Mythteen USA event, the champion scouted himself and eventually signed with the next model around the world. The sisters continued modeling together for Aroplastal. The champions are currently modelled after Prada, Ralph Lauren, Chanel and Givenchy.
She told V Magazine she wanted to pursue a career in modeling from her first show.
“That show, for me, wanted to work hard so I could do more shows. There was a lot of adrenaline and power to see other girls making me love so much,” she said.
The couple are very supportive of each other’s work. Schwarzenegger is E! He told, “The best part about having her by my side is that she always cheers me on, wants the best for me, and brings out the best in me.

How long have Schwarzenegger and the champion been together?
The pair have been dating since 2015, at least as long as the public knows. They were found that September at Nice Guy in West Hollywood on dinner day. They went to “The Official Instagram” in February 2016 with their Champion account, carrying a portrait of Sweet Couple.
In 2019, they attended the annual Casamigos Halloween Party as iconic Austin Powers characters.
They regularly share photos of each other on social media, usually on holidays and milestone occasions. In 2020, Schwarzenegger shared the story of an epic baking attempt at Easter.

When were they engaged?
The couple got engaged in December 2023 and posted a joint announcement on Instagram. The carousel in the photo showed the couple on the beach in front of a huge red rose flower arrangement in the shape of a heart, then showed them at home with a celebratory cake.

What about their wedding plans?
Schwarzenegger told people in late September 2024 that he hadn’t made much progress in planning his wedding. It was “slowly, but certainly. I’ve been in Thailand for the past seven months (photographing the White Lotus) so we really didn’t do anything.”
“I just want anything (for the wedding),” he said of his fiancé’s preferences. “I’m just there and there to help it and make it happen.”
Are they married already?
In September 2025, Daily Mail released photos from her wedding. Champion and Schwarzenegger were married at the exclusive Gozzer Ranch Country Club in Core-Darlene, Idaho. The champion wore a sleeveless white wedding dress with a full skirt and a long veil. The groom wore a white tuxedo jacket and a black dress pants with a white bowtie. Their parents were present as were their sister, Catherine and husband, Chris Pratt.
Do they want to start a family together?
Yes, but not now. Schwarzenegger spoke about where he stands in giving birth to a child one day. He explained to people in late September 2024, “It’s up to Abby. Her job is and she’s very busy.”
“I don’t know (about the timing of our first child) – but if I could, I’d have kids tomorrow,” he added.

The Champion shared a photo of a big night of his fiance in mid-February, when HBO’s season 3 hit the White Lotus, where it premiered in Los Angeles. Schwarzenegger shared how the champion responded to the actor he saw with Sam Nibola in episode 6 after appearing on the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon in April 2025. Nibola plays Schwarzenegger’s brother. Schwarzenegger touches him inappropriately after a night of drinking. In the interview, Schwarzenegger shared how he refused to ruin anything for the champion, so she was totally surprised at the moment.
“My fiancé was annoying me non-stop when I booked the role,” Schwarzenegger said. “She was like, ‘You have to tell me who’s going to die.’ And I said, “I signed away from my life, not to die.
