In a September 4 press conference in Sao Paulo, Brazil ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opening game, the tight end agreed to questions about how things have changed since announcing the Swift proposal on August 26th. “We’re going there, we’re going right there,” he said with a laugh.
Kelse acknowledged that the spotlight in his personal life has grown, but stated that the overall experience is positive. “Life has been fun ever since I started dating Taylor…it was exciting,” he told reporters. “Obviously there are more eyes and I’m accepting it, but I’m living a life. I’m living a high life.”
He repeated similar sentiments on his New Heights Podcast earlier this week, thanking listeners for their support following the couple’s announcement. “I’m grateful to everyone who reached out and sent something, all the posts and excitement,” he said. “It was really fun telling everyone I was going to spend the rest of my life together.”
Fans want to know when the wedding will take place, but sources recently told people that the pair will never start planning. “Now they just want to get engaged and they’re going to spend time on it,” the insider explained. “It doesn’t have to keep it a secret anymore and they’re happy it’s public.”
