Julian Nicholson doesn’t mind sharing her husband, Jonathan Cake with Carrie Bradshaw.
Speaking only to people at the first Televerse festival held in Los Angeles on August 16, the 54-year-old actress thought that Cake, who turned 58 on August 31, had “so much chemistry” with Sarah Jessica Parker when she played Duncan Reeves.
“I wanted him to be back so he could be with me and that she could live happily forever,” she says.
Nicholson admits that “it’s very strange to cheer on her husband for having chemistry with another woman,” but she considers his character “the best of the season.”
“I thought he was very sparkly, relaxed and charming. It was like, ‘Okay, come on,'” she added her spouse, and married in 2004 and shares two children. “I was excited for him.”

Cake joined the Sex and City Revival series, taking part in its third and final season.
The actor, previously starring in the Desperate Housewife and Star Girl, had a five-episode arc as Duncan, Carrie’s downstairs neighbor.
Duncan and Carrie descended on the wrong foot at first – literally, he complained that she was walking upstairs townhome in her high heels while trying to sleep during the day.
The two eventually bonded with their writing and traded notes about each other’s work. Following Carrie’s farewell with Aiden Shaw (John Corbett), the two had a brief escape before Duncan returned to London.
Cake had previously been reflected in his time and so…and shared his thoughts on the show’s outcome.
Following news that the Sex and the City Continuation series will end in Season 3, Cake asked Instagram, “Wait, did I just kill (show)?”
He continues, calling his experience, just like that… “Exquisite joy while it continues.”
Cake praised Parker for giving fans “that joy for nearly 30 years” like Carrie.
“I don’t think there’s a higher appeal to people in our business,” he wrote. “You knock it out of the park and it’s still travel, travel, travel. Make me hot to your team – so hot – you’re all great. You’re all great.”

Nicholson confirmed that the cake will be dated this September with the 2025 Emmys.
The actress, who already won an Emmy for her role in East Town’s Mare in 2021, has won two Emmy Awards this year.
Nicholson has been nominated for a great support actress in the drama series category for her role as Sinatra in Paradise and the drama series category for her excellent guest actresses in the comedy series for her role as a dance mom in Huck.
If she wins again with one of these nominations, Nicholson says in her speech, “I want to talk more about my husband.”
“For the first time, I feel like I’m very nervous,” she recalls. “There are a lot of people to mention. I feel like my husband has been shortened. Honestly, I can’t do it without him. I’ve felt bad about it.
