In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Holland talked about Zendaya and how much she’s based on him. “I think Zendaya brings an incredible sense of serenity to me,” he said. “Even when you’re in the middle of all this craziness and you’re traveling the world and making movies, you can get really overwhelmed sometimes, because that’s what happens when you’re human. There’s no one who calms me down like she does.”

Zendaya also talked about Holland in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she shared what she admires most about him.
“I respect many things about him,” she began. “As an actor, I think he’s a very talented guy, and I think off-camera you see him grow into a leadership position in this movie. I think he cares a lot about the character of Peter Parker, and you can see that. And he takes that outside of his day-to-day life. I love the way he expands on that too, because little kids don’t know he’s not Spider-Man. ”
