Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey will reportedly invite more than 1,000 guests to their July 3rd wedding in New York. Ahead of the wedding, stars close to Swift, including Sabrina Carpenter, have been spotted in the area, fueling speculation that they might be in attendance. Reports have been circulating for months that Swift and Kelsea were inviting old friends, colleagues and music luminaries to the event.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce haven’t talked much about their wedding, but the guest list has been a hot topic for months. During her press tour for The Life of a Showgirl in October, Swift invited hosts Graham Norton and Greg James to her wedding during a recorded interview.
Since then, celebrities and sources alike have been debating who will and who won’t be invited to this highly anticipated event. On July 1, People magazine reported that several possible guests, including Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran, were also spotted in upstate New York ahead of the reported wedding on July 2 and 3. Swift herself was also seen in the video arriving at her friend Gigi Hadid’s apartment on the same day.
Here’s a breakdown of who’s confirmed to be attending the couple’s wedding, as well as an overview of others who are likely to be on the guest list.
Swift and Kelsey have a grand wedding with over 1,000 guests.
Multiple media outlets, including the New York Times and ABC News, reported that about 1,100 guests will be invited to Swift’s July 3 wedding.
About 100 guests are scheduled for her rehearsal dinner on July 2, according to CBS News.
In October, Swift herself told Graham Norton that she was having a big wedding, explaining that she was inviting everyone into her “bubble.”
Of her weddings in general, she said, “I think the only stressful weddings are when there’s less space[for guests]so I know it’s fun to plan.” She added that that’s when they “need to evaluate their relationship and see if they’re there.”
However, a source told People in September that the wedding won’t be a huge event. “(They) want to keep it more secret,” the source said. “It is definitely a private affair and not a public spectacle. They are close friends and will respect their privacy.”
In late June, a source told NBC News that all guests received NDAs with their invitations, and a source told ABC News that the couple had a strict no-phone policy at the event.
Prince William and Duchess Kate will not be attending.
In May, Prince William jokingly said he was expecting an invitation to Swift’s wedding (“I’m hopeful and I’m sure there might be an invitation, but we’ll see,” he told Heart Breakfast). But People has since learned that the Prince of Wales and his wife Kate, Duchess of Wales, will ultimately not attend the wedding in New York City. The same media confirmed the news on June 30th.
Prince William posed with Swift and Kelsey backstage at the Elath Tour show in London in June 2024, with his eldest two children Prince George and Princess Charlotte also in attendance. Swift eventually used the shot with Kelsea to make it Instagram official.

Waterhouse, a longtime friend of Swift, told Variety in May that he planned to attend Swift’s wedding. When asked about Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson’s own wedding planning, Waterhouse replied, “There’s nothing scarier than the actual planning part, right? I’m going to Taylor’s wedding. That might give me some inspiration. It’s going to be amazing.”

The British singer was spotted in northern Malta, New York on June 30, fueling speculation that he might actually attend Swift’s wedding.
Swift hinted in an October interview with Hits Radio that the longtime friend would be in attendance when asked if Sheeran would perform at her wedding. “Oh, I mean, I think it’s hard to keep him away from that,” she said.
“He’s like, ‘I’m always asked to sing at weddings,'” she continued. “It’s like, ‘Ed, if there’s a stage, I know I’m going to be on it.'” He knows what people want and wants to give them what they want. The funny thing about our friendship is that we both love to perform, we both love to write, and we both love to sing. We’re like, “Oh, don’t make me sing!” Are you okay! ”
She added: “It’s actually not that difficult to convince both of us to do something.”

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle co-hosts Tight End University with Kelce. During TEU in mid-June, George revealed the rules for the couple’s wedding and also confirmed his own attendance. “They said no gifts at all,” Kittle told Extra TV. “But Travis loves old coins for some reason, so I thought I’d buy him some old coins.”
His wife Claire Kittle also revealed that the couple has not yet revealed the location of their wedding. “We don’t know,” Claire told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the Tight Ends & Friends concert.
George added, “Actually, I asked Travis last night and he laughed at me, so…I’m half expecting a jumbo jet to come down the runway and put me on a plane somewhere. I don’t have any expectations. I know it’s going to be great.”

Peter’s Clothing, a men’s clothing store in Kansas City, shared a photo of Chiefs coach Andy Reid receiving a tuxedo on June 25 (the wedding was reportedly black tie).
“Thank you, Coach Reid! 🏈,” the store wrote above a photo of him holding a garment bag. This comes after Reid shared a photo of himself adjusting his tuxedo on June 12, noting that Reid was preparing for Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

Swift spoke at Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding in September. A source confirmed to Rolling Stone that Swift’s friend Stevie Nicks will also attend the wedding and perform.
Swift has said the legendary singer is one of her three favorite people. “Stevie Nicks has always been a positive influence in my life,” she told host Stephen Colbert on The Late Show in December. “I get to talk to her, I get to call her, I get to hear what she’s been through. She paved the way for me and other artists to do this at this level, so I feel very fortunate to have lent her very magical, wonderful, wise approach to life to me.”

Rumors arose that the actress, whose Law & Order: SVU character Olivia Benson inspired the name of one of Swift’s cats, would attend the ceremony when fans noticed that the Broadway production of Every Brilliant Thing included a day off on July 3, the date of Swift’s wedding.

She had been asked about joining the Elas tour. “I was lucky because we’ve been friends for a really long time,” she said. “I’ve known her since I was 17 and 18 and she invited me. I knew I wasn’t going to get tickets, so I was so happy. She’s a great friend. She blew my mind. I mean, the physical strength it takes to play 44 songs over three and a half hours and sustain the extreme energy of the audience is something I’ve never seen before.”

Hadid and Swift’s friendship dates back to 2014. Swift also spent time with Hadid ahead of her July 1 wedding. TMZ ran a video of Swift arriving at Hadid’s New York City apartment. In 2023, Hadid corrected an erroneous tabloid report that claimed Swift had gone too far with her then-new girlfriend Kelce and felt it was premature. “We are so happy for our daughter,” Hadid wrote.

Carpenter is more than just a friend of Swift’s. She was an opener on the Elas tour and collaborated on “The Life of a Showgirl.” Multiple news outlets have reported that she is on the guest list, and she apparently confirmed this when she appeared at New York restaurant Emmet’s on Grove on June 30th.

Antonoff is expected to attend, as he is a longtime collaborator and friend of Swift’s. Swift was a guest at Antonoff and Margaret Qualley’s 2023 wedding, and the two artists recently collaborated on the Toy Story 5 song “I Knew It, I Knew You.”

Swift has collaborated musically with Dessner for years, starting with her 2020 album Folklore. She was spotted with Sheeran on June 30th in Malta, New York.

Delevingne is an original member of Swift’s team and their friendship spans over a decade, so it wouldn’t be surprising if there were reports that she received an invite.
Delevingne previously lived with Swift and spoke about the experience in 2024. “I was going through a really bad breakup and she let me move in together,” Delevingne said in an interview with Nikki Glazer. “We’re very different people. She took good care of me and was very homely. But we got into some trouble. Not trouble, but I definitely took her on a little wild ride. Just to make her blush would be great.”
