‘The Real Housewives of London’ arrives in the US
The show, whose first season premiered on British streamer Hayu last year, has been acquired by Bravo and will air weekly on the network starting July 21 at 9pm ET/PT. On August 4th, it will move to the 8pm slot with consecutive episodes. All episodes will be available to stream on Peacock the next day.
Housewives of London include Juliette Angus, Amanda Cronin, Karen Roderick Peace, Juliette Mayhew, Panthea Parker and Nessie Welsinger. Season 2 recently wrapped filming and is scheduled to premiere on “Hayu” later this year.
“‘The Real Housewives of London’ introduces us to six glamorous, stylish and bold women who are making their mark across London’s most famous postcodes,” the show’s synopsis reads. “From Belgravia to Chelsea, they live life to the fullest, balancing ambition, family, and fierce friendships. They host lavish dinners, escape to Scottish castles, and rebuild bonds over champagne as riches are whispered and grudges are exchanged.” In this swirling city, they navigate life, heritage, and loyalty. With great personalities, deep history, and no shortage of designer drama, the path to connection is never easy, but always fascinating.”London’s call…and this group always answers. ”
The news comes a week after the station suspended the reboot of another UK-based reality show, “Ladies of London,” which first aired on Bravo in March. The original series, starring London housewife Angus, ran for three seasons from 2014 to 2017. The reboot, titled “The New Reign,” stars Lady Emma Thin, Martha Lady Sitwell, Lottie Kane, Mrs. Beqiri, Kimi Murdoch, Micah Meyer, Margo Stilley, and Mark Francis Vandelli, among others, being the first male in the main cast of the “Housewives” style show.
The Real Housewives of London is produced for Hayu by Universal Television Alternative Studios UK Productions, a division of Universal Studios Group. “The Real Housewives” format is licensed worldwide by NBCUniversal Format, a division of Universal Studios Group.
