Amy Beck, the mother of TikTok star Noah Beck, has taken a leave of absence from her teaching job after a video of her appearing to imitate oral sex with Noah Beck resurfaced.
The female principal at Coyote Hills Elementary School in Arizona was placed on administrative leave effective Monday after the State Board of Education requested an investigation after receiving complaints about a “highly inappropriate” clip, according to Central Arizona.
Peoria Unified School District released a statement to Amy’s class explaining that she took the leave “out of an abundance of caution,” Page Six confirmed.
The statement stressed that student safety would not be affected and reassured that a replacement teacher would take over.
A resurfaced video, said to have been posted around 2020, shows Noah, 24, continuing to push Amy’s head down while he lip-syncs to Jay Rock’s 2018 song “King’s Dead,” which has lyrics about sexual acts.
Multiple critics commented on the clip, which was reposted via Reddit earlier this month, calling it “disturbing.”
“Yeah (sic) so I want to bleach my eyes so I can’t see this,” one person commented.
“I’d like to believe he doesn’t understand what this means, but maybe the lyrics were a hint?” a second wrote.
“It was a trend and I doubt he realized that it was suggesting it was crazy,” said one person defending Noah.
Representatives for Noah and Peoria Unified School District could not be reached for comment to Page Six.
Additionally, the actor’s younger sister, Haley, has come under intense scrutiny after being fired from her high school teaching position last year for allegedly grooming and having sex with a student.
According to a police report, the student’s mother knew her son was having sex with a teacher named “Hailey Beck,” the Post reported.
Beck, who was hired as a psychology teacher in 2020, allegedly inflated students’ grades, gave them homework and paid them to buy drugs and alcohol.
Noah has not yet spoken out about the incident, but earlier this week he actively promoted his partnership with Prada on Instagram.
The “Sidelines” star is also busy filming the upcoming “Baywatch” sequel series.
