Months after rumors first surfaced that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey might tie the knot on June 13, Kelsey has revealed her plans for the weekend, and they don’t include a wedding. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end will be in Los Angeles to tape a live New Heights show with his brother and co-host Jason Kelce. The couple haven’t announced a wedding date, but a source recently said they are “excited” to tie the knot.
Rumors have been circulating for the past few months that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey will be getting married on June 13th. Shortly after her wedding planner debunked rumors that the couple would be getting married that day at Ocean House in Rhode Island, Kelsey revealed her plans for the weekend, and they don’t include a wedding celebration.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end spoke about upcoming events on his New Heights podcast. “We’re going live! That’s right, we’re taking the show on the road,” he said. “New Heights is live in Los Angeles. We’re taking our talent to the West Coast. We’ll be at the Orpheum Theater on June 15th.” He and co-host Jason Kelce will also be in attendance to celebrate the opening of the World Cup. “Let’s go, America!” he said.
In addition, Kelce is scheduled to attend the Chiefs’ mandatory minicamp from June 9th to 11th, just before the Los Angeles tournament.
In March, ESPN’s Nate Taylor reported that Kelce and Swift would tie the knot by the end of July, when the Chiefs’ training camp begins. There were reports that the two were planning a wedding over the Fourth of July weekend, but neither Swift nor Kelsey have revealed the actual wedding date.
However, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight that Swift and Kelsea are looking forward to getting married. “Taylor and Travis couldn’t be more excited to start their next chapter and look forward to the day they can call each other husband and wife,” a source said.
Swift expressed similar sentiments during an appearance on the October Tonight Show, where she talked about how happy she is to be married to Kelce. She told host Jimmy Fallon that Kelsey is “my favorite person I’ve ever met. I mean no offense to anyone else, but the fact that this person is going to be with me forever every day, that’s what it’s all about. When you look at that[engagement ring]you’re like, ‘I’m going to spend forever with him and this represents that.'”
