Brooks Nader and Libby Dunn are making headlines.
Athletes in swimsuits began “ocean training” on Tuesday in Venice Beach, Calif., in preparation for the reboot of the cult classic “Baywatch.”
Sources say the cast members are working with experienced lifeguards to learn the correct technique, including perfecting the technique of running in slow motion on the sand.
Nader is used to posing in a bikini, but a source says she’s ready to try her hand at surfing.
“She was a good swimmer and trained on her own with a swim coach,” the source divulged.
Nader and former LSU gymnast Dan — both Sports Illustrated swimsuit aficionados — have met the brand before.
“They are really excited to be working together,” says a company official. “They’re having so much fun and they’re bringing all the Sports Illustrated energy to Baywatch Beach.”
Other cast members also participated in beach training.
Page Six previously reported that Brooks is already preparing for the role by ramping up his workouts, including strength training sessions with a personal trainer.
But last weekend, she took some time off.
Spies say Brooks attended the wedding of her manager, Leah Fiddler, and Gavin Moulatau at the Nizuk Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico, along with her sisters Mary Holland, Grace Ann and Sarah Jane.
The new “Baywatch” also stars Stephen Amell, Hussie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone and original series star David Chokachi.
Nader will play Selene, “the virulent captain of Zuma Beach’s lifeguards,” the character description says.
Dan plays Grace, a junior lifeguard.
The original series, starring David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson, aired from 1989 to 2001. A movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron was also released in 2017.
