Mickey C. Lee, who competed on season 27 of Big Brother in 2025, passed away on December 25th. Her family shared the news on Instagram, days after she revealed she had suffered multiple cardiac arrests. She was 35 years old.
On Dec. 23, the Lee family launched a GoFundMe and promoted it on Instagram. The account page revealed that Lee was in the ICU in “critical but stable condition” after multiple cardiac arrests.
The message continued: “Due to this sudden health crisis, Mickey and his family are facing significant emotional and financial burdens, from mounting hospital bills to ongoing treatment and recovery costs.”
As of this article’s publication, $31,605 has been raised and 80% of the goal has been achieved.
On Christmas Day, her family posted again on her account. “It is with deep sadness that Mickey Lee’s family announces her transition on Christmas evening,” the post reads. “Mickey won the hearts of audiences across the country through her appearance on Big Brother, and her integrity, strength and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike. She will be remembered for the genuine connections she made inside and outside the country. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to everyone who has offered prayers, love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness has been felt and we are truly grateful.”
“Mickey’s light, legacy and impact will never be forgotten,” the family said in a statement, asking for privacy.
The news comes three months after she was evicted from “Big Brother” after 59 days.
