Nicole Kidman is spending Christmas Down Under following her split from Keith Urban.
A source told People magazine on Thursday that she was in her native Australia with her daughters to celebrate their first Christmas since their split.
“Nicole and the girls are in Australia for Christmas,” a source said.
“This is all she wanted after her fall,” the source continued. “She just wanted to celebrate Christmas at home.”
Kidman is reportedly “so excited” to be home with daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, for the holidays.
Earlier this week, she was spotted attending a holiday party with her naturally curly hair on display.
This will be Kidman’s first Christmas celebration since separating from her estranged husband.
The “Big Little Lies” star, 58, and the country singer, 58, separated in September after 19 years of marriage. Kidman filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
“Sometimes relationships just pass on their own,” a source said of the breakup at the time, adding that Kidman “didn’t want to break up and was trying to salvage things.”
The two have reportedly been living apart “since the beginning of the summer.”
According to court documents obtained by People, the former couple agreed to a parenting plan that “includes refraining from making negative comments about each other or the family.”
The “Practical Magic” star is named the primary resident parent, meaning Urban will spend 306 days with the girls 59 days a year.
Urban made headlines in June when he abruptly ended a Zoom interview when asked about his thoughts on Kidman filming a love scene with Zac Efron for the 2024 Netflix film Family Affair.
Since their breakup, the “You Look Good in My Shirt” artist was rumored to be romantically involved with guitarist Maggie Boe.
Urban and Kidman married nearly a year after meeting at the G’Day USA gala in January 2005.
Kidman was married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, and she and the Top Gun actor have two children, Bella, 32, and Connor, 30.
