Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau held hands as they stepped out on a date night in Japan.
The couple were photographed walking through Asakusa, a popular tourist destination in Tokyo, before heading to a restaurant for dinner and a show on Monday night.
Mr. Perry, 41, and Mr. Trudeau, 53, dined at the Asakusa Sumo Stable Annex, known for its live sumo matches and traditional Japanese cuisine.
The “ET” songstress stepped out wearing a brown leather jacket and tan cargo pants. She also covered her face with a mask.
Meanwhile, Canada’s former prime minister walked in front of her wearing a black coat and denim pants.
Both girls completed their casual looks with comfortable sneakers and baseball caps.
Perry is visiting Tokyo to continue his Lifetime tour. They are scheduled to perform two performances at Saitama Super Arena on December 3rd and 4th.
It was reported that Perry was planning a holiday with her new boyfriend, but it looks like the two spent the holiday apart.
The “Dark Horse” hitmaker flaunted her holiday spirit last Thursday night when she posed for a selfie wearing a beret decorated with Thanksgiving food.
“Hattie Thanksgiving,” she captioned the post.
Trudeau was not seen in Perry’s social media posts. It’s also unclear whether he spent the day with his children with his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.
But according to photos she shared online, he attended Thanksgiving in Canada with her ex-boyfriend last month with his entire family.
Perry and boyfriend Justin Trudeau made their first public appearance as a couple in October, celebrating the pop star’s birthday with a night on the streets of Paris.
Rumors of a relationship first surfaced in July when the two were seen taking a romantic walk in Montreal and then going on a dinner date.
The politician has since been seen attending several shows on Perry’s Lifetime tour.
