A new trailer for Taylor Swift’s upcoming Disney+ documentary series spotlights an emotional speech she gave during the final concert of her Elas tour.
According to the teaser for “Taylor Swift | The Elus Tour | The Final Show,” Taylor Swift thanked the thousands of people in the stands at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium on Dec. 8, 2024.
“We’ve been preparing for the end of this tour for a long time, and tonight we get to play our last show here,” she told concertgoers at the time.
“I would like to thank each and every one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my life to date,” she added.
Swift, 35, announced in a trailer that the film, which will be released on December 12th, will include a new sound set.
She was also seen singing the opening lyrics of “Long Live,” the final song from her 2010 album “Speak Now,” while wearing a sparkly purple dress and playing the piano.
Other songs featured in the trailer include her 2024 song “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” And “Even a broken heart can do it.”
Swift’s blockbuster tour “Ellas Tour” lasted approximately 21 months from March 2023 to December 2024.
Her final performance was recorded in a documentary series released in October.
The six-episode special features a behind-the-scenes look at her tour, including rehearsals, life on the road, and PDA with fiancé Travis Kelce.
Other notable names appearing on the project include Sabrina Carpenter, who has opened for several of Swift’s shows, and her collaborators Gracie Abrams and Ed Sheeran.
“The Eras Tour | The Final Show, featuring the entire Tortured Poets Department set, and the first two episodes of the six-episode behind-the-scenes documentary, The End of an Era, will be available on @disneyplus on December 12th,” she announced in an Instagram post at the time.
During her record-breaking world tour, Swift was also busy writing two new albums, releasing The Tortured Poets’ Department in April 2024 and The Life of a Showgirl in October 2025.
The pop star also re-recorded “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” and “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” while touring around the world.
