North West makes sure her mother continues to eat the humble pie.
Kim Kardashian’s 12-year-old daughter has slammed her controversial Met Gala outfit, saying her look “makes people hate me every year.”
This week’s episode of “The Kardashians” chronicled the run-up to the 2025 Ball at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
“North came to my room last night and she gave me a super cute little balloon that said ‘Good Luck’ and flowers,” Kardashian, 45, told producers off-camera while her glam team took care of her hair and makeup.
The next scene showed a flashback of the previous night. The beauty mogul was lying in a hotel bed when her preteen walked in with a large bouquet of flowers.
“Oh my god! Where did you get this?” exclaimed Kardashian as she sniffed the arrangement, adding, “You know what? This just made my day.”
Mr. North understood his mother’s stress level leading up to the hipster relationship, so he instructed her, “So you have to leave now.”
“Do you think so?” Kardashian asked, prompting her daughter to argue, “Yes! What’s the worst that can happen? People hating the way you dress? We do that every year.”
As Kardashian pulled North in for a hug, the preteen repeated, “I have to go. That’s it!”
The mother of four, who shares the children with ex-husband Kanye West, admitted to her eldest son, “You are my driving force.”
Kardashian and her team stayed up until 3 a.m. modifying the original set of Chrome Hearts with a black leather corset.
“I ended up cutting the dress in two,” she explained, elaborating that “the proportions weren’t right.”
North famously criticized Kardashian’s 2023 Met Gala look, saying her pearl-draped Schiaparelli ensemble looked like it came out of a dollar store.
